The goal of this course is to provide an in depth understanding of security issues in modern computer communication systems and e-commerce web sites. By studying fundamental cryptography theories and case studies, students will acquire the knowledge and abilities to apply learned security technologies. In addition to the textbook, selected papers from top IEEE/ACM conferences and journals will also be used to help understand the emerging issues in e-commerce and cloud security.
