授課教師:Professor Alastair MorrisonProfessor Morrison is Chair Professor at NKUHT and a Distinguished Professor Emeritus specializing in the area of tourism and hospitality planning, development, and marketing in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. He currently is the CEO of Belle Tourism International Consulting (BTI). He is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Tourism Cities and a Visiting Professor at the University of Greenwich in London, UK.
Professor Morrison is the author of five leading books on tourism marketing and development: Marketing and Managing Tourism Destinations, 2nd edition (Routledge, 2018); Global Marketing of China Tourism (China Architecture & Building Press, 2012); Hospitality and Travel Marketing, 4th edition (Cengage Delmar Learning, 2010); The Tourism System, 8th edition, (Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company, 2018); and Tourism: Bridges across Continents (McGraw-Hill Australia, 1998). In an analysis by Ryan (2005), Professor Morrison was placed among the five most prolific contributors in the world to the academic journals in tourism management. He has published more than 250 academic articles and conference proceedings, as well as over 50 research monographs related to marketing and tourism.
Professor Morrison is a highly-regarded teacher and trainer. He received multiple teaching awards from Purdue University including the Charles Murphy Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching; and is an elected member of the Purdue Teaching Academy. He was the co-founder and co-developer of the Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) program for Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) and trained many destination management executives from North America and the Caribbean as part of the CDME program. Professor Morrison has 10 conducted industry training programs on several continents on a variety of topics related to tourism planning, development, and marketing.
Professor Morrison was selected by the International Society of Travel & Tourism Educators (ISTTE) as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to tourism education. He has also been elected as a Fellow of the world’s most elite organization of tourism scholars, the International Academy for the Study of Tourism (IAST).
Professor Morrison is a UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) Consultant and has also provided advice for the World Bank, Pacific Asia Travel Association, European Union, US Agency for International Development, and other multinational organizations. Recently he completed a national tourism marketing strategy for Indonesia on behalf of the UNWTO. In addition to having lived and worked in five different countries, Professor Morrison has had a wide variety of experience in the global tourism industry and has provided tourism planning, development, and marketing advice in approximately 45 different countries.偕同教師:謝鴻鎮副教授Coordinator teacher:Associate Professor Hsieh, Hung-Chen課程說明This is a comprehensive and integrated course at a graduate level covering both destination marketing and destination management in one module. It focuses on how destination management is planned, implemented and evaluated as well as the management and operations of destination management organizations (DMOs), how they conduct business, major opportunities, challenges and issues they face to compete for the global leisure and business travel markets.
The course highlights concepts and theories in destination management, but is designed to be practical using case examples and team exercises in which course participants learn about and work with real situations in tourism. A strong focus is placed on destinations within Asia and the Pacific; however, the coverage is worldwide.
The course coincides with the production of Professor Alastair M. Morrison’s new second edition of Marketing and Managing Tourism Destinations (Routledge, London) and will be the first time the new version leading textbook is covered in a course format. Prof. Morrison also integrates materials from his classic text, The Tourism System, and its new 8th edition, published in February 2018.

報名繳費後,因不可抗力之因素(需提出證明),得於一定期限內請求退費。
退費標準:依教育部「專科以上學校推廣教育實施辦法」第17條之標準辦理退費
完成報名手續至開課前退費者:退還應繳金額之90%
實際上課後未超過全期1/3者:退還應繳金額之50%
開課後超過1/3課程者:恕不予退還費用。
若校方因故未能開班,得全額退還已繳費用。
備註
進入實作教室請穿著標準廚師服、廚帽、圍裙、防滑鞋,並勿穿短褲、拖鞋和涼鞋。
本中心不提供廚藝課程相關器具,煩請學員依各堂課程所需器具自行攜帶(※所需器具請以課程簡訊通知為主)。
烘焙相關課程:請學員需自備磅秤、半圓刮片、擠花袋(18吋)、打蛋器(12吋)、桿麵棍(30cm)、橡皮刮刀、木柄抹刀、平口花嘴工具,以利課程進行。
請妥善保養維護各項實習器具,如有偷竊、破壞、毀損等情事,除取消其研習資格外,並依法究辦,並請配合每堂下課器具點收及環境清潔工作(如未有確實執行清潔工作者及開課後擾亂課程秩序者,予以退訓,並不予退還學費)。
課程恕不接受試聽,學員請勿攜帶孩童上課或進入實習教室,以免發生危險。
課程均為一次性課程,如有單堂課程時間無法配合,恕無法補課,亦無法提供上課錄影,還請見諒。
本中心因校內活動或教室消毒及管線維修等不可抗拒因素,常需變更師資、課程時間、場地等造成不便,敬請見諒。
因配合外在整體環境因素、天災、國際情勢等無可抗力之因素,本中心保有調整替代食材之權利。
若遇不可避免之天災(如:颱風),則依照高雄市政府公告確定是否上課;如公告“停止上班”則停止上課,擇期補課。
本校園內一律禁止吸煙,在校期間有吸煙行為者給予退訓不退還任何費用。
本校提供免費汽車停車,請於報名時告知正確的汽車車號以利提供給校門警衛放行,如未提供請學員每次上課時以換證方式進出,並請學員將汽車停妥於汽車格內。
