課程概述與目標：
This course acquaints students with Tort Law as it is practiced in the United States, and offers comparisons to Tort Law in other countries such as Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and EU nations. We will cover selected aspects of intentional torts, negligence, and strict liability, with special attention to medical and products liability issues. Our objectives include both comprehension of legal and policy issues in personal injury law, as well as the enhancement of students’ ability to research and discuss legal and policy issues in English. Free expression of opinions and debate is encouraged.
